Current Assignments/In-Class Projects

Paperwork for Victoria has been handed out to students. Please read the cover letter and make sure the paperwork is filled out completely. If you need another copy, you can print one out using this link.

The playing test schedule for January through March has also been distributed. Students need to be practicing regularly in order to stay on top of their music and to be ready for their tests.

Students can use www.musictheory.net as a resource for reviewing and/or learning note names, scales and other music theory.  It's also a great resource for ear training.  Click on "trainers" and do the "interval ear training" to practice hearing different intervals.  It's also a great resource for learning about Major Scales, which students will be tested on at the end of the school year.

Here is a website that serves as an online metronome using your computer.  Try it out: www.metronomeonline.com
