Symphonic Band

Current Assignments/In-Class Projects

The band did a great job at the UW Band Festival. Videos of the performance are on YouTube.

Students can use www.musictheory.net as a resource for reviewing and/or learning note names, scales and other music theory.  It's also a great resource for ear training.  Click on "trainers" and do the "interval ear training" to practice hearing different intervals.

Here is a website that serves as an online metronome using your computer.  Try it out: www.metronomeonline.com

Here is a link that has all the recordings from the Standard of Excellence Books 1 and 2
