Current Assignments/In-Class Projects
We'll be doing "Improv Wednesdays" every Wednesday and use the book "Chop Monster" to learn how to transcribe solos. Students should bring their Chop Monster Books every Wednesday and be practicing with them at home on their own.
Students need to get the Jazz recordings from Mr. Mahaffey and should be listening to them regularly. There is a new resource available that I have downloaded recordings to. Go to drop.io and log in to "cmsjazz" to obtain the recordings.
