Concert Band

Current Assignments/In-Class Projects

The band is off to a great start. Students should be practicing regularly and listening to the recordings on the drop website.

We will have note name tests on Wednesdays, students should be studying the notes in their clef so they can work towards getting perfect scores on their note name tests. Scores will not be posted in gradebook until each test has been taken twice. So it will be a month or so until note name test scores are posted.

Here is a website that serves as an online metronome using your computer.  Try it out: www.metronomeonline.com

You can use www.musictheory.net as a resource for reviewing note names.  Click on "Trainers" and then "Note Name Trainer" to get started.

Here is a link that has all the recordings from the Standard of Excellence Books 1 and 2
